We welcome new members.  

Membership fees are $30.00 p.a.  Junior membership is available for those aged 7-18 years and not in full time employment for $5.00 p.a.

There is a one off joining fee of $5.00.

Membership entitles you to participate in any one or more of the groups, attend all Centre functions and to receive the Centre's newsletter.

The groups provide self-help sessions and workshops are held from time to time with professional tutors.

Because the Centre is operated primarily by volunteer members, adult members are asked to assist by doing a duty of 3 hours once a month (or more often if you wish). This may be in the Arts Centre Gallery, the gardens, the office or assisting at the Centre in some other way. eg with rosters or labels.

Members may sell their art or craft works through the Centre.  Items are left at the Centre are at your own risk.  Provided you do a duty at least once a month, you pay 22% commission to the Centre on items you sell.  For those members unable to do duty, 33% commission is charged by the Centre. 

Each group charges an agreed upon contribution for each meeting eg 50 cents or $1, which goes to the purchase of equipment and other group needs. An electricity fee of $1 is charged each time you use the Centre to attend a group. 

The Centre is open from 10 am until 4 pm seven days a week.   If you wish to become a member, please call at the Centre during these hours, or alternately contact one of the group leaders - see the individual group pages for further details.
